RACKWISE releases new Data Center Manager (DCM) solution

Visual Network Design Inc. has announced the release of version 3.4 of RACKWISE DCM that they call as data center industry’s most comprehensive and intelligent cost savings analysis and green reporting solution available.

The new version of the software gives the ability to the organizations to Green their data centers as per the Green Grid’s metrics and also offers cost/savings analysis which can calculate the monetary value of the proposed changes related to heat, power and space in a data center. The major advantage of this solution seems to be its ability to determine the cost impact based on the proposed changes without actually making them.

This will allow data centers to identify equipment that is more likely the candidate for decommission and introduce new equipments that will help them save power and money.
